A quick, easy, and budget-friendly sensory activity is a flower petal bin. If your child is anything like my son, you probably won’t need the bin because it’ll be dumped in less than a second. All you need is just some craft flower petals. I got mine here (https://amzn.to/2EHkj3Q).
While exploring the flower petal bin, you can work on a variety of skills such as:
-Color identification -Counting -Grouping/sorting -Exploring sensation -Building vocabulary -Pincer grasp
My son enjoyed taking the flower petals out of their original packaging so we took the opportunity to work on positional language (i.e. the flowers are ON the floor). When we were finished, he helped put the flowers back in their packaging.
