What’s more simple than heart stamping? It’s such a great way to use a little bit of technology (stamp), engage in some color mixing, feel different textures, count hearts, and more!
For this activity, we repurposed a dual heart shaped cookie cutter but play-doh heart utensils work just as well. Color wise, the possibilities are endless! I opted to use red and white to allow the little guy to see what happens when they are mixed together.
What I love about stamping is the opportunities to gain fine motor control. While observing my little guy, I noticed some pincer grasp action along with wrist turning.
Do you love this activity as much I do? I mean it does make for a pretty great decoration or gift for a special lady! Feel free to like, comment, save, and/or share!
