Those little plastic eggs aren’t just for Easter egg hunts! They be incorporated into activities that work on language building, fine motor, and mathematics!
Here’s a couple activities to try:
Introduce the concept of identifying colors by holding up an egg and identify it by color and name. Periodically check your child’s understanding by asking to identify a color. For an added challenge, split the eggs apart and have your child match the two sides together or match up colors!
Split the two sides apart and grab a small amount of paint for dipping. Encourage your child to make some beautiful artwork! Older children can even create a game board or their own monthly calendar!
